Our newest addition!

Well alot of people have been asking about the story as to when gavin was born.! so here it is!
on march 31st at 2:30 pm i was cleaning the house when all of the sudden i felt something wierd! my first thought was i definalty have more control over my body then that. yes, it was my water breaking. but it didnt fully break , it was just trickling, so i waitedabout an hour to see if contractions would start but they never did, i was just leaking. so i got a little concerned and called my freind nicole to come get me to take me to the hospital to just get checked out, after all i was due that day so i wanted to be safe, anywhoo, we got to the hospital and yet still no contractions. jeremy was of course at work so i didnt call him right away so he wouldnt get side tracked or worry about what was going on, so they took a sample of the water and about 15 min later they came in and said ITS POSITIVE. all i said was wait positive for what!? the nurse was like YOUR HAVING A BABY!! as soon as she said that i got super nervous, mostly becuase i have been afraid of giving birth the entire pregnancy , and it was now here! its a really scary feeling, just thinking about all the pain you have to go through, but in all honesty it wasnt that bad! the contractions were MUCH worse! but jer stood by me ( well he fell asleep haha) but he helped me through my contractions and made me feel very comfortable. i love him :), anywhoo!, so i went in around 3 and by 11 my contractions were unbearable! so they called the epidural man! ( epidurals are like a gift from the gods!) i was actually more afraid of getting the epidural then actually giving birth, i am terrified of needles!! but he put the needle in while i was having a contraction so i didnt really notice it, well up until he stuck a nerve and my leg wigged out!. haha, but it wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be . so i finally got to sleep for a little while and arond 3 am i could feel my contractions again, not as bad but to the point where it was just uncomfortable. my nurse came in and said once they get really bad then we will start to push.. so at 5am i called her in and we started to push. we pushed for 15 min and then waited 30 min to five y doctor time to get to the hospital, at 5:45 i couldnt hold him in any longer my dr was still not there so the nurse delivered gavin, at 6:19 am little gavin was born at 7 pounds 12 oz, jeremy watched the whole thing even though he said he wouldnt ever want to watch anything like that.! but he was right by my side supporting me and helping me through contractions. i didnt get to see him for like 2 hours :( we were so blessed to have a very well trained and expierenced nurse . she was amazing! he is a beautiful baby and im so blessed to have a wonderful baby!
